Coder Job Description:

Primarily responsible for coding outpatient (day surgery and diagnostic) accounts according to ICD-9 and CPT guidelines. Also participates actively in the daily review of charts using the SMART review guidelines as outlined by the Tenet coding guidelines and policies.
