 Job Description:

Demonstrates accountability for essential clinical knowledge to positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating care.  Demonstrates strong and accurate clinical judgment and competent or expert nursing skills while following established policies including those related to confidentiality.  Leaders on this unit have a passion for supporting nurses in reaching their professional goals, excellent practice, and collegial relationships

Types of patients you will see:

Medical PCU – Ventilated tracheostomy patients

Cardiac PCU – patients require various drips and rhythm monitoring

Surgical PCU – patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgery, as well as vascular, thoracic and other surgical procedures

Medical PCU – stroke designated unit, where patients with neurologic problems are seen.

Job Requirements:

• ASN
• 2+ yrs Acute Care experience
