Telephone Triage Nurse – Nebraska

Permanent/Full-Time

Day Shift 8am-6pm

Job Description:

Triage Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs and answering questions over the telephone in order to determine patient priority for access to care.  Collaborate with other care providers as needed to finalize the disposition of issues identified during the phone assessment.
Assure communication with each patient is handled in a professional and tactful manner, using good nursing judgment and ensures all necessary calls and messages are handled in an expedient manner.

Required Qualifications:

• BSN
• Active Nebraska RN license
• 3+ yrs recent clinical experience in a physician office, critical care or emergency room
