Core Laboratory Supervisor Job Description:

The Supervisor of Core Laboratory provides leadership and direction in regards to effectively managing daily operations of the laboratory in order to fulfill goals and objectives of the department. Provides technical expertise when needed during discussions about future changes with regards to standardization with other laboratories working closely with or affiliated with our lab. Effectively communicates information, utilizes resources and manages technical staff and services in order to institute industry best laboratory practices. Manages technical staff and operational expenses in the department. Establishes annual goals and objectives for the department in conjunction with section supervisors, Medical Directors and Laboratory Administrative Director.

CANDIDATE DETAILS

• 3+ years laboratory management experience
• B.S. Degree in a clinical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science
• Certification (ASCP or NCA)
