Job Description:

Responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the facility, facility compliance with policies and State and Federal rules and regulations, and providing the highest quality of care possible.  Leads planning process to develop goals for quality care, employee retention and financial performance. Directs the hiring and training of personnel.  Prepares annual budgets for approval by Regional Management.  Monitors performance for achievement of goals and for improvement, and takes corrective action when necessary.  Responsible for census development/marketing

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in health care administration
  • Nursing Home Administrator License in Michigan
  • 2+ yrs experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in a LTC facility

Job Description:

The tasks and responsibilities include: Assesses, plans and implements care and interventions in addressing the problems of the patient.  Carries out physician orders.  Assists physician during examination, treatment, and procedures.  Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.  Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.  Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.  Instructs and educates patients and families. Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.  Provides age and culturally appropriate care.  Maintains a safe and therapeutic patient care environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Texas State License
