ARNP Clinical Coordinator – Florida

Job Description:
Coordinates primary health planning for patients in collaboration with physicians and hospital personnel. Assess general health status of patients by providing history and physical examinations, and monitoring of appropriate laboratory and radiographic studies. Acts as a liaison between patient, family members, hospital staff and physicians. Serves as a clinical resource to staff, providing education to enhance patient outcomes. Participates in the multidisciplinary clinical rounds. Ensures 100% compliance to pre-op and post of core measures of Cardiovascular surgical patients. Works very closely with the CVICU/CVOR/ CV Step down Nurses to ensure compassionate care to our patients and their families.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- ANA Specialty certification in adult and/or geriatrics
- Holds current Florida ARNP license
- Holds current BLS certification.
- 5+ yrs clinical experience as ARNP

Description:Responsible for the day to day operation of assigned departments including staffing, the delivery of clinical care and physician satisfaction while meeting budget expectations of the organization. Specific responsibilities include meeting cost targets as stated in the department’s approved budget, staff satisfaction as measured by turnover and the annual employee survey, physician satisfaction as measured by physician satisfaction survey, and patient satisfaction as measured by applicable patient surveys. Additional responsibilities include management functions such as conducting regular staff meetings, ensuring staffing complies with ratios for safe patient care, employee counseling, monitoring of attendance and educational needs. Actively leads and/or participates in teams/committees to improve organizational outcomes and operations excellence. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing Program
Licensure to practice in the State of California
Minimum of 5 years of experience in acute care Surgical Service required
Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory/Management Experience in acute care Surgical
Services required
Current ACLS and PALS
National certification in surgical services preferred
