Job Description:
Supervises blood bank personnel in the performance of basic and advanced patient and donor tests including automated and manual test procedures and the interpretation of results to determine donor-recipient compatibility. Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing policies, processes and procedures that address all aspects of immunohematology diagnostic testing. Consults and communicates with staff at Main Campus Blood Bank to help resolve technological and operational problems. As directed by the Laboratory Director, Clinical Consultant and Technical Supervisor, and Blood Bank Manager, the Supervisor Blood Bank: Ensures that all CC, Division and Departmental policies are adhered to and all lab safety procedures are followed. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

The therapy department focuses on stroke recovery, orthopedic rehab, contracture management, cognitive retraining, prosthetic/orthotic training, and other various programs.
