- Master’s degree from a Top Ten school in Healthcare, Business or Management
- California Hospital experience required
- Major Construction/facilities expansion experience
- Ten years in progressive senior leadership roles required

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer for the Region the Chief Operating Officer (COO) provides executive leadership for all operational areas at the Medical Center , providing strategic,, analytical and operational leadership . The COO is an integral member of the Senior Leadership team that establishes and manages strategic initiatives , ensuring high quality , cost effective clinical outcomes.. The COO is responsible for patient safety and satisfaction, ongoing planning, development, implementation and continuous improvement of the programs and services provided by at this Medical Center and for ensuring that the operations are in compliance with all federal, state, funding, and city regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements..
