Job Description:

Communicate the department’s goals to subordinates and adjust their activities to accomplish those goals.  Strive to improve test turnaround time by organization and distribution of workload in the section through staff development, concise/accurate procedure manuals, new technical procedures/equipment, and adequate/cost effective supply inventories.  Keep current with new developments pertaining to the section, evaluate and make recommendations for services which include test methods, verification of test procedures and resolving technical problems in order to maintain a high level of technical sophistication.  Maintain compliance with safety, quality control, QI and proficiency testing.  Day Shift with every other weekend

Required Qualifications:

• MLT/Associate Degree
• ASCP Certified
• 2+ yrs supervisory experience
