Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: CRNA is an advanced practice nurse who works in collaboration with anesthesiologist, surgeons and other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors’ of Science degree in nursing or other appropriate undergraduate degree and a master’s degree from one of the more than 100 graduate schools of nurse anesthesia. In addition, nurse anesthesia must hold a current license as a registered nurse. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Possess strong computer knowledge and skills. Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated. Flexible to work any shifts, weekends, holidays and on calls hours within the department. 5 years’ experience in pediatrics, obstetrics, adult and ENT required.
