Clinical Nurse Specialist – Operating Room Job Description
Join the passionate nurses at our hospital as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and deliver clinical teaching and support that makes a life-changing difference. Be a well-respected expert at the bedside and work to maintain compliancy with mandates. Lead and inspire by example across Peri-operative Services, PACU, and Endoscopy. Assist with new staff development. Schedule and run in-services and be responsible for data collection. Help us build and transform a growing team dedicated to Putting Patients First.
Clinical Nurse Specialist OR Requirements:
- Masters degree in Nursing
- Clinical Nurse Specialist licensure (or eligible to obtain)
- Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse (or eligible to obtain)
- 5+ years of acute care RN experience in the Operating Room
- Previous experience as a CNS is preferred
- Orthopedics, ENT, and eye surgery experience is preferred
