Job Description: SUMMARY: Strategically manages and directs the daily operations of Perioperative Department. Ensures safe, respectful, and efficient care in the areas of responsibility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with members of the health care team. Works with teams to improve interdepartmental as well as unit specific process issues and or staff issues. Must successfully manage all unit specific process improvement studies and participate in division wide or organizational wide process improvement activities or programs. Promotes evidence based practice.
