Infection Prevention Manager – Colorado

Job Description:

Manages the daily operations for the organization’s infection control programs and policies and will be supervising a team of nine. Manages the development and implementation of infection control goals, standards, plans, and programs which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.  Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with staff, physicians, and other departments. Manages complaints and conflicts through to resolution.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC) by the Certification Board of Infection Control & Epidemiology.
• 3+ yrs experience as a manager of an infection prevention program in a hospital system
• Previous nursing experience
