Medical Technologist
Location: Colorado
Job Type: Permanent Full Time
Job Description: Job Summary The Medical Technologist is responsible for overall daily operations and testing in the laboratory, reviews and maintains quality control and preventative maintenance records, reviews and updates procedure manuals, inventories laboratory supplies, and evaluates new tests and procedures. Receives referred specimens or specimens directly from patients and performs complex qualitative and quantitative analysis. Minimum Qualifications Must possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology; National registration by ASCP/HEW as an MT or equivalent. Desirable characteristics include at least one year experience as a Medical Technologist. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Candidate must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stressful situations.
