JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Nurse Manager – Operating Room is responsible for directing and supervising functions and activities in OR. Prepare work schedules, monitor and evaluate work performance. Provide leadership for the unit.

Required qualifications, experiences and skills of OR Nurse Manager:

• Current RN license from the State of Texas.
• Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school, BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years management/supervisory experience in an Acute Care Hospital OR
• BLS from AHA, ACLS and PALS
