Job Description: The Director of Quality and Patient Experience maintains overall management and supervision for Risk Management, Compliance, Medical Staff Office, Quality, and Patient Experience. The Director will guide all District related activities with collaboration from staff, physicians, leaders, and other stakeholders, as appropriate. A Registered Nurse who is a graduate of an accredited program and maintains current licensure in the state of Colorado is required. A Bachelor of Science degree with three (3) or more years of experience in a hospital clinical arena preferred. Possesses current knowledge of CMS and other regulatory guidelines and has previous experience in performance improvement, patient safety, risk management and medical staff office function. Possesses excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Possesses excellent skills in written and verbal communication and group management. Strong computer knowledge, word-processing and database management required.
