Job Description:

Assesses respiratory patients with acute and chronic illnesses to ensure delivery of clinically appropriate respiratory care procedures, as prescribed by fellow staff therapists/technicians and medical staff for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. Instructs, orients, and makes recommendations to medical and nursing personnel regarding respiratory care procedures. Assists in the orientation of new staff.

Respiratory Therapist Requirements:

• Must have current Michigan license as a respiratory therapist (LRT)
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• 2 yrs previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist Shift:

8AM to 8PM with some night call

ER Director Job duties:
Maintains competency to provide the care and services as it applies to the department’s patient/customer population and as defined in the department’s Scope of Service document.  Responsible to create a culture of Compassion, Integrity, Quality, Respect and Teamwork through developing and then implementing controls programs in the area (s) of responsibility.  Directs strategies and programs consistent with our Mission.  Directs and maintains departmental activities, incorporates innovation, utilizes diagnostic tools for problem solving through analyzing data and trends, and makes recommendations for improvement.  Implements, monitors and controls strategic, operational and department plans.  Engages, collaborates, seeks input, and involves physicians in capital budgeting and program development.  Develops a positive working relationship with staff, leadership, physicians and key stakeholders in planning and implementing departmental initiatives.  Identifies strategies to improve performance and increase growth.  Sets targets and timeframes for achieving these strategic objectives utilizing a dashboard approach.

• FULL TIME POSITION
• NEED FIVE (5) YEARS ER DIRECTOR EXPERIENCE** (3 years ED clinical experience within last 5 years)
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required- BSN
• Certification Required, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Valid State of  Colorado RN license required.
