Job Description:
Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Imaging Services Department. This position will ensure compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from newborn to elderly. The Director will be responsible for maintaining performance improvement activities within the department and participating in CQI activities and assuring the competency of all personnel. The Director will also be responsible for assisting in formulating the budget, maintaining efficient and effective department operations while requiring compliance with all Joint Commission, state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Certified by the State of Texas to practice and administer radiation
- Current BLS certification
- 5+ yrs recent active experience in diagnostic procedures with Director experience

Provides treatment in accordance with the plan of care and within the scope of physical therapy practice.
